Accessibility needs audit
Each property was asked to choose two audiences they would target their marketing. These audiences needed to be relevant to the property.
What groups were represented in the local community, but were under-represented among staff or volunteers.
The properties carried out accessibility needs audits which looked at accessibility barriers to the property, skills in the Heritage Skills Passport and strategies which could be put into place to overcome those barriers.
The accessibility needs audit was conducted in a detailed format to help line managers to think through the process, but it was then summarised and made available for partner organization.
The summary audit was uploaded to the Passport to your Future Project website on the partners’ page.
